Brown names new natural resources advisor
Jason Miner has led 1000 Friends of Oregon
Gov. Kate Brown, who found out Tuesday that shell have at least another two years to run the state, named Jason Miner as her new natural resources policy manager the following day.
Miner has served as executive director of 1000 Friends of Oregon, a land use planning advocacy group, since 2010. He previously served on the Steens Mountain Advisory Council, and on the board of the Oregon State University College of Forestry.
Miners earned a masters of environmental management and law degree from Duke University.
