The Portland People's Climate March will be held in conjunction with National People's Climate Movement activities in Washington D.C.

COURTESY OF OPAL - Portlanders will assemble at Dawson Park April 29 as part of national movement against climate change. Local activists are staging the Portland People's Climate March on Saturday, April 29, in solidarity with the National People's Climate Movement activities in Washington D.C. that day.

In Portland, supporters will mobilize at Dawson Park, at North Williams Avenue and Stanton Street, from noon to 4 p.m.

Speakers will address the crowd from noon to 1 p.m., followed by a march from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The event is led by the Oregon Just Transition Alliance.
