Live the Revolution through bicycle storytelling
The Street Trust, formerly known as the Bicycle Transportation Alliance, holds its eighth annual bicycle-themed storytelling event, Live the Revolution, on Friday, Feb. 9. The fundraiser is at Alberta Abbey, 126 N.E. Alberta St. in Portland. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m.
This year's line-up includes several of Portland's bike advocates, including River City Bicycles' David Guettler, Bike Farm's Momoko Saunders, Keyonda McQuarters from Black Girls Do Bike PDX, and Jocelyn Gaudi Quarrell from Portland Design Works.
Tickets are $15 in advance, $17 at the door.
Raffle prizes include two Public C1 bicycles, a messenger bag, REI gear, a wheel set from Sugar Wheels, a Thule trailer, and gift certificates.
Proceeds benefit The Street Trust's expanded mandate to support bicycling, walking, and public transit.
