20th-annual Watershed Wide Event features work parties along waterway, with volunteers dressing up for the occasion.

    -     The Johnson Creek Watershed Council hosts its annual creek-wide cleanup day on March 3.

This time, volunteers will be donning costumes to celebrate the 20th annual event.

Ten separate work parties are planned along Johnson Creek, from 8:45 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 3.

After spending time planting native trees, removing invasive species and other chores, volunteers are invited to pizza parties and costume contests at two locations, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
