Three people fell while climbing Mt. Hood on Monday, May 28, according to rescue agencies.

A rescue effort was launched around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 28, according to a report by KOIN 6 News, our media partner.

The three climbers were part of a team, and will be carried out of the area by stretcher. Authorities said they expected the people to "have good results."
