Sandy man identified as victim of fatal crash
Oregon State Police have identified the drivers involved in an early-morning, fatal crash near milepost 48 near Welches on Friday, June 29.
Sandy resident Ryan Reyna, 28, was heading west from Mount Hood in a 2012 Honda Accord when he crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a commercial vehicle hauling wood chips, driven by Brian Sheridan, 49, of Terrebone.
After arriving on the scene around 4 a.m. June 29, police found that Sheridan had made it off the road, but his vehicle had quickly caught fire. Both men were the only occupants of their vehicles and were pronounced deceased on the scene.
Oregon State Police are still seeking information about the accident and ask anyone who might have witnessed the crash call 503-375-3555.
