Sunday afternoon accident results in only minor injuries to passengers, drivers

All are in good health after a three-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon on Highway 26 just east of Haley Road between Sandy and Gresham.

At around 12:47 p.m. Aug. 25, Fortino Reyes Mora, 28, was driving a Honda Accord eastbound on Highway 26 when he braked and swerved to avoid rear-ending a slowing vehicle. He veered across the unpaved median and collided head-on with two westbound vehicles.

The wreck temporarily blocked both westbound lanes.

The occupants of a westbound Subaru involved in the crash received minor injuries.

Also during the crash, a Dodge pickup pulling a travel trailer was forced off the road and onto the embankment on the north side of the westbound lanes.

None of those involved in the crash were transported to medical services.

All vehicles were towed.
