Mount Hood community charity will offer food program Monday, March 30 as scheduled

COURTESY PHOTO - The Neighborhood Missions serve those in need from 9-10 a.m. the last Monday of every month. Neighborhood Missions, a nonprofit group run through the Hoodland Lutheran Church, hosts a free food market from 9-10 a.m. the last Monday of every month in the parking lot behind the Hoodland Senior Center, 65000 Highway 26, Welches.

"We recognize that the need will likely be greater as a result of these times of the coronavirus," said organizer Steve Carlson. The next event is still scheduled to take place Monday, March 30.

The program is a partnership between Neighborhood Missions and the Oregon Food Bank.
