Oregon Farm Bureau is accepting high-res, landscape ag photos until Sept. 15

COURTESY PHOTO: OREGON FARM BUREAU - Examples of past calendars can be found online on the Oregon Farm Bureaus website. In the Sandy area, photogenic agricultural landscapes abound, and the Oregon Farm Bureau is requesting your best shot.

If you'd like a chance to have your photograph featured in the 2022 Oregon's Bounty Calendar, now is the time to send in your best pictures before the Sept. 15 deadline.

"Spring is a fantastic time to look for photo opportunities within Oregon agriculture," said OFB Communications Director Anne Marie Moss. "Farmers markets have opened, fields are blooming, and farmers are preparing for summer harvest."

Suggested photo subjects and settings include "close-ups of ag products, planting/harvesting crops, ranching scenes, panoramic views of farmland, people enjoying Oregon ag products, farm animals, portraits of Farm Bureau members, farming/ranching scenes from all seasons," as recommended in a release from OFB.

Images should be shot and entered in horizontal format and high resolution, and both close-ups and panoramic views are appreciated.

There is no limit on how many photos each participant can enter, and participants do not have to be Farm Bureau members.

Those whose photos are chosen will receive a photo credit in the 2022 calendar and a complimentary copy of the calendar. The Oregon's Bounty Calendar is received by around 64,000 families around the state.
