Oregon State Police troopers respond to the two-vehicle crash Monday, Sept. 20

A woman, whose name has yet to be released, died in a two-vehicle crash near Boring on Monday, Sept. 20, which closed Highway 212 for more than three hours.

Oregon State Police troopers and emergency personnel responded to the collision near milepost 5 on Highway 212 outside Boring around 12:45 p.m., Monday afternoon.

According to investigators, a Ford Focus, operated by the unidentified female victim, was heading eastbound on Highway 212 when it crossed into the westbound lane and struck an oncoming Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Boring resident Cameron Ellet.

Ellet was reportedly wearing a seatbelt and sustained minor injuries in the crash. The other driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

OSP was assisted by deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, AMR and ODOT.
