Carol Norgard and Michelle Cassell, both active members of the Mt. Hood Lions Club, are grateful for community support of the holiday food and gift basket program.

We want to personally thank all those who participated in providing over 70 families with food baskets and gifts for their children. This year flowed very smoothly and I attribute that to the core helpers, Cindy, Michelle, Allison, Molly, Elaine and Shirley.

Then a huge thank you to the over 50 volunteers who came that week to sort the food, pick up the purchased perishable foods in town and then put the baskets together. There are so many names.

The following businesses collected or bargained to purchase food, gifts and or handed out packets of information and provided a place for our community to purchase specific gifts for those who needed assistance.

Please thank these businesses who assisted us in one form or another: Mt. Hood Lions Club and Mercury Development for the use of their facilities, Hoodland Women's Club, Mt. Hood Oregon Resort, Mt. Hood Women's Golf Club, Welches Mountain Building Supply, Welches School, Clackamas County Bank, Govy General Store, Hoodland Library, Coffee Brewster's, McKenzie Dental, Hoodland Thriftway, Welches Liquor Store, Smoke on the Mountain and Mt. Hood Cannabis Company.
