Summer event educates public on city happenings, services with games, giveaways

The city hosted its annual Longest Day Parkway surrounding the Timberline Ridge Park, complete with games, grilling and giveaways.

"I like it when people get out in the community, get off their electronics and on their bike or scooter," said Carol Cohen, city events coordinator. "I also think it's great to see families together at the event. It's a great way for people to meet city staff and the council and promote the events coming up this summer."
