Sandy native and Central Catholic graduate forgoes his senior season to turn pro

PAMPLIN MEDIA GROUP - Sandy native and Central Catholic graduate Ryan Nall has decided to forgo his senior year at Oregon State and declare for the NFL Draft in April. After a stellar three seasons at Oregon State, running back Ryan Nall has the desire to go onto bigger and better things.

The formal Central Catholic star and Sandy native has decided to forego his senior season at OSU and enter the NFL Draft.

"Once the season was over, a lot of thought went into what would happen next. I wanted to gather all the information I could about the NFL Draft and where I was going to be projected," Nall said. "After taking a look at all my options, I decided that entering the Draft was the best decision for me."

Nall ends his career at Oregon State in the top ten in a number a rushing records He currently sits eighth in OSU history with 2,216 rushing yards, seventh with 24 rushing touchdowns and seventh with nine games of at least 100 rushing yards. Nall is a three-time Pac-12 All-Academic selection and is the only player in Oregon State history with three carries of 75 yards or more.

The 2018 NFL Draft will tale place April 26-28 in at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Nall is expected to be taken on the third day of the Draft — which is where the fifth, sixth and seventh rounds will take place. Nall plans to have his pro day in mid-March, where he hopes to up his stock in front of NFL scouts.

Standing at 6-feet-2 inches and 237 pounds, Nall is one of the biggest backs in this year's draft class.
