MILWAUKIE — The Sandy girls track team picked up four wins on their way to second place in the team tally at last week's Northwest Oregon Conference district meet.

Junior sprinter Marley Salveter led the charge with a sweep of the 100-and 200-meter races, winning both by decisive margins.

Sandy sophomore Adilynn Brotnov won the 300-meter hurdles in 48.94 seconds, pulling away over the final two hurdles after coming onto the straightaway side-by-side with a line of three other contenders.

Keeley Rasmussen provided Sandy with its only field-event win, throwing the discus 125 feet, 10 inches on Day 1 of the meet.
