Atkins, Jones, Pippa-White make first team; undefeated Central Catholic sweeps major awards

PMG FILE PHOTO - After a stellar debut season, Barlow freshman Jalen Atkins was named to the 2021-22 MHC first-team all-league. After a competitive year, the Mt. Hood Conference announced the top players from the 2021-22 boys basketball season.

Central Catholic swept the major awards after going an undefeated 16-0 through league play. The Rams had player of the year Riley Williams; defensive player of the year Jordan King; and coach of the year David Blue.

Barlow, Gresham, Reynolds and Sandy all had multiple athletes recognized.
