Police believe there could be more instances of stores hit with fake $100 bills, and seek assistance.

Tualatin Police on Monday, April 23, responded to a report of a man who used a fake $100 bill to make a purchase at a retail store in the 7000 block of Southwest Nyberg Street. Officers found the suspect, Prince Julin Harris, 33, of Washington, in the store's parking lot. He was arrested and charged with forgery.PHOTO: WCSO - Prince Harris

Witnesses also reported that a woman had been with Harris at the time of the incident and also attempted to make a purchase with a fake $100 bill.

The female suspect was identified as Amy Elaine Armstrong, 36, of Washington. Tualatin officers located Armstrong on Wednesday, April 25. She was arrested and also charged her with forgery. PHOTO: WCSO - Amy Armstrong

Both Harris and Armstrong were lodged in the Washington County Jail.
