SUBMITTED PHOTO - Susanne BonamiciCongresswoman Suzanne Bonamici will host a town hall meeting on Monday, Sept. 17 at Tualatin High School from 6 to 7 p.m.

Bonamici will take questions from residents and provide an update about her work in Congress.

"This is a pivotal time in our country on many issues, so it is important for people to participate in our democracy and make their voices heard," Bonamici said. "Town hall meetings allow me to meet with constituents in person so I can hear what matters most to them and address their needs in Congress. In recent months many Oregonians have contacted me about pressing issues that I look forward to discussing. These include health care, protecting the environment, immigration, and holding the Trump administration accountable."

Members of Bonamici's staff will also be available at the town hall meetings to assist anyone experiencing problems with federal agencies such as the Veteran's Administration, Social Security or the Internal Revenue Service.
