Mayor gets day, bridge named after him
A long list of people paid tribute to Mayor Lou Ogden at his final Tualatin City Meeting Dec. 10. Among the honors presented to him was a proclamation declaring Dec. 20 as Lou Ogden Day, shown here with Councilor Joelle Davis giving Ogden the proclamation.
In addition, Ogden received a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol, compliments of U.S. Rep. Suzanne Bonamici. A surprise award included this bronze plaque, which will be attached to the Myslony Bridge during a grand opening ceremony set for 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20. (Ogden also received a smaller version of the plaque to keep.)
The bridge is located on Myslony Street over Hedges Creek.
