Truck crash closes road already delayed due to ongoing construction projects between Washington and Columbia counties

WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE PHOTO - A semi truck carrying large quantities of tea bottles overturned on Cornelius Pass Road Friday, Oct. 11.An over-turned semi-truck closed Northwest Old Cornelius Pass Road to traffic between Northwest Skyline Boulevard and Northwest Philips Road in Washington County on Friday evening, OCt. 11, shortly before 5 p.m., according to Multnomah County road crews.

Old Cornelius Pass Road is the detour for car traffic during the current closure of Cornelius Pass Road for repairs. An alternate route is Germantown Road from Washington County to Skyline Boulevard.

WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE PHOTO - Five different trucks were at the scene of a crash involving an overturned semi truck on NW Old Cornelius Pass Road to try to help remove the vehicle Friday, Oct. 11.The county did not provide an estimated reopening time for the road, but said it would likely remain closed for several hours.
