Sherwood and Tonquin roads has reopened.

The road reopened Thursday, Oct. 15, after originally being shut down on Sept. 15, according to a spokesperson with Washington County Land Use & Transportation.

The road was closed for work that needed to be completed on the future Portland General Electric operations center planned for the east side of the 124th Avenue extension at Tualatin Sherwood Road. The 108,000-square-foot structure is tentatively slated for completion by the end of 2021, officials have said.

At the same time, grading work recently started across the street from the PGE facility to make room for five buildings constructed by developer Trammell Crow.
