California resident named to head Tualatin chamber
A California resident who has an extensive background in managing businesses and serving as chief executive officer of chambers of commerce in California and Arizona has been selected to head the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce.
Roy Gugliotta has been named to replace Linda Moholt who is retiring after more than 12 years at the helm of the organization.
"I have spent a lifetime exploring what brings success and balance into our lives," Gugliotta said in a chamber news release. "I'm excited to join the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce and continue the work of Linda Moholt under the direction of the 2021 Chamber Board of Directors."
Gugliotta currently serves as president and CEO of the Art of Success Consulting in the San Francisco Bay Area. He served as CEO of Rohnert Park Chamber of Commerce in California and CEO of Camp Verde Chamber in Arizona before beginning his consulting firm.
Moholt leaves her position on Jan. 15.
"She has been our leader, mentor, our guide and our friend," Susan Noack, chair of the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce's board of directors, wrote. "We have been through many transitions together, beginning with her start during the 2008 recession through the 2020 pandemic."
Noack credits Moholt with using advocacy on the local, county and state levels to help local businesses succeed.
