Festive vaccines: COVID-19 shots with a Hawaiian theme
The Springs at Sherwood held the first of its three scheduled COVID-19 vaccine clinics on Thursday, Jan. 7, where more than 150 Sherwood residents and staff members received their Pfizer vaccination.
A second clinic, scheduled through Consonus Pharmacy, is planned for Jan. 28, when those who received the first vaccination at the independent living, assisted living and memory care facility, will receive their second dose and any remaining residents and staff who want the vaccine can get it, according to Lindsay Keefer, a spokesperson for The Springs.
After the shots, both residents and staff alike were treated to a Hawaiian luau to celebrate the event.
