Tuesday, April 13

Officers took a report of theft by deception from a resident in the 11000 block of Southwest Tualatin Road. An elderly woman was scammed into giving an unknown person remote access to her mobile phone which led to $1,800 being transferred out of her bank account.

Officers took a report of a catalytic converter theft from a vehicle at a residence in the 8900 block of Southwest Nasoma Lane.

Wednesday, April 14

Officers arrested a 26-year-old man and a 24-year-old man for theft I and criminal mischief on Southwest Tualatin Sherwood Road near Southwest 124th Avenue after they were found to be in possession of stolen catalytic converters.

Officers arrested a 52-year-old woman for theft at Fred Meyer, 19200 S.W. Martinazzi Ave., after she returned a stolen item to the store.

Thursday, April 15

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 9100 block of Southwest Sweek Drive. A husband and wife got into an argument over car keys.

Officers took a report identity theft that occurred at the OSHU Health Vaccination Clinic at Hillsboro Stadium, 4450 N.E. Century Blvd., Hillsboro. A resident's personal information was used to fraudulently obtain a COVID-19 vaccine.

Friday, April 16

Officers towed a vehicle in the 8500 block of Southwest Dakota Court after it had been abandoned on the street for several months.

Officers arrested a 19-year-old man for assault IV on Southwest Sweek Drive near Southwest 90th Avenue after he struck his victim several times in the presence of their daughter.

Saturday, April 17

Officers took a report of unlawful delivery of marijuana in the 7400 block of Southwest Bridgeport Road. A woman stated her son was given marijuana edibles.

Sunday, April 18

Officers arrested a 51-year-old man for reckless burning and criminal mischief II at Mutual Materials, 18230 S.W. Boones Ferry Road, after he started a fire on the property damaging a retaining wall and plants.

Officers arrested a 39-year-old man for burglary II and theft III at G-Man Sports Bar, 18791 S.W. Martinazzi Ave.

Monday, April 19

Officers arrested a 39-year-old man for violation of restraining order at Bright Now! Dental, 7965 S.W. Nyberg St.

Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief at Atfalati Park on Southwest Sagert Street. Graffiti was tagged at the park and along Southwest 65th Avenue.

Officers took a report of reckless driving at Cabela's, 7555 S.W. Nyberg St. The operator of a motorcycle drove erratically in the parking lot, nearly striking a man standing on the sidewalk in front of the store.
