Monday, June 14

While on a routine patrol, an officer discovered a Jeep that had been stolen in the 15300 block of Southwest Sequoia Parkway. The occupant was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession and distribution of a controlled substance after heroin was discovered in the vehicle.

Officers responded to a report of a man throwing bricks at the side of his neighbor's house, damaging the siding. He was cited for criminal mischief and was evaluated by the Washington County Mental Health Response Team.

Tuesday, June 15

Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated driver who nearly crashed into a vehicle, ran red lights, and hit a curb in the 9700 block of Southwest Washington Square Road. The man took off towards Greenburg Road, parked at a 7-Eleven, exited his vehicle, and started running. After catching up with him, he was belligerent, kept reaching into his pockets and refused to comply with commands. Officers tased the man and because he continued to be physically combative, he was put in restraints for his safety and others. He was arrested for drunken driving, interfering with a peace officer and reckless driving.

Officers responded to a disturbance at a hotel in the 11400 block of Southwest Pacific Highway. A guest was yelling and screaming in the parking lot and had been throwing items around in his room. Officers had responded to a call involving the same man earlier in the day and placed him on a police officers' hold, transporting him to a nearby hospital.

Officers took a report of a package theft in the 16100 block of Southwest 72nd Avenue. Two packages containing water backflow testing gauges had been stolen days earlier. The victim provided serial numbers, which will improve the chance of them being returned if they are recovered.

Officers responded to a report of a three-year-old girl wandering around an apartment complex. She had snuck out after being put to bed. Her father was advised of ways to prevent this from happening again.

Wednesday, June 16

Officers took a report of a catalytic converter theft in the 12600 Southwest Grant Avenue that was stolen from a van used for a food pantry.

Officers responded to a brush fire in the 11900 block of Southwest Pacific Highway. A car parked nearby caught fire, charring the body panel and headlight. The owner was not harmed, and the flames were extinguished.

Officers took a report of a car prowl in the 9400 block of Southwest Coral Street. A purse containing various credit cards was stolen from inside. The vehicle may have been left unlocked.

Officers took a report from a man who said a scammer using a spoof number for the U.S. Marshals Service. The scammer stated his Social Security number was associated with the Columbian drug trade. To clear his name, he would need to verify his bank accounts and move money around to help with the verification. The scammer walked him through opening a Coinbase account and linking it to his PayPal account. The extent of the financial loss is unknown.

Thursday, June 17

Officers responded to a report of a menacing with a gun on Southwest Pacific Highway near Hall Boulevard. The caller was arguing with a man who yelled he had a gun as they went their separate ways. The man was detained and ultimately cited on an unrelated outstanding Clackamas County misdemeanor warrant.  

Friday, June 18

Officers arrested a woman for drunken driving and reckless driving on Southwest Pacific Highway near Highway 217 after it was reported she was traveling with a flat tire and damaged headlight.

Officers took a report of a burglary at an apartment clubhouse in the 10400 block of Southwest McDonald Street. An unknown suspect entered through an unlocked door and pried open the manager's office, stealing petty cash and damaging the door.

Saturday, June 19

Officers took a report of a catalytic converter theft in the 12300 block of Southwest 131st Avenue. 

Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated driver on Southwest Pacific Highway near Dartmouth Street observed hitting the median twice, nearly striking a cyclist and swerving toward other vehicles. Following a traffic stop, a man was arrested for DUII and reckless driving.  

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance involving a man who punched his girlfriend in the rib cage and side of the mouth. He was arrested for harassment - domestic violence and transported to jail.

Sunday, June 20

Officers took a report of a stolen vehicle in the 13200 block of Southwest Hillshire Drive. The owner is not certain if a key fob was left in the car. 

Officers arrested a man for assault after he punched his roommate twice in the face leaving a red welt on his cheek.

Tuesday, June 15

Officers arrested a 39-year-old man in the 17000 block of Lower Boones Ferry Road for possession of a stolen vehicle, attempt to elude a police officer in a vehicle, reckless driving, forgery, and identity theft.

Officers arrested a 35-year-old man for unlawful delivery of marijuana items to persons under 21 years of age and possession of methamphetamine in the 12000 block of Southwest Tualatin Road. Additionally, two male juveniles were referred to the Washington County Juvenile Department for disorderly conduct II.

Wednesday, June 16

Officers took a report of a criminal mischief at a residence in the 21000 block of Southwest Blackfoot Drive. Acid or paint thinner was poured on a truck.

Officers issued a citation for furnishing alcohol to a minor at Hayden's Lakefront Grill, 8187 S.W. Tualatin Sherwood Road., after a bartender served an alcoholic drink to a minor decoy.

Thursday, June 17

Officers arrested a 57-year-old man for assault at a residence in the 8600 block of Southwest Comanche Way after he pushed a woman down, causing a substantial injury.

Officers responded to a report of reckless burning at the Rolling Hills Apartments, 19355 S.W. 65th Ave. An illegal firework was set off causing a tree to start on fire.

Friday, June 18

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 17000 block of Southwest Pacific Highway. A dispute occurred between an ex-couple over the family pets.

Officers arrested a 34-year-old man for drunken driving, reckless driving and recklessly endangering in the 7300 block of Southwest Nyberg Street after crashing into another vehicle.

Officers took a report of robbery and criminal impersonation at McDonald's, 19200 S.W. Boones Ferry Rd., after a DoorDash driver trespassed into an employees-only space and took food from the restaurant.

Saturday, June 19

Officers took a report of a theft at the Todd Village Apartments, 8325 S.W. Mohawk St. A backpack was stolen off a front porch.

Sunday, June 20

Officers took a report of a burglary at a residence in the 7100 block of Southwest Sager Street. The home was broken into, and a vehicle was stolen.

Officers took a report of a stolen vehicle at Northwest Self Storage, 19800 S.W. Cipole Rd.

Monday, June 21

Officers took a report of a restraining order violation at a residence in the 11000 block of S.W. Tualatin Road. The victim was receiving unwanted messages on TikTok.
