This year's "Eat, Drink and Be Giving" is set for Saturday, Nov. 6, and features both virtual and small in-person events.

"This year you have a choice of joining a small house party, or participating in your own home," Family Promise's website states. "House parties will include a catered meal; all locations will enjoy a beer/cider tasting with paired snacks."

The virtual event begins at 6 p.m. and includes a basket of drinks and snacks that can picked up at the organization's main office. Tickets are $50.

The house party event, small on-site gatherings that will be held in the West Linn and Tualatin areas, will include a Thai dinner, beer/cider tasting paired with snacks and a dessert. House party events begin at 5:30 p.m.

Host addresses will be announced via email a week before the event. Proof of vaccination for this event is required. Cost is $75.

A livestream event will occur at each house party and will include updates on the work the nonprofit agency, which aids homeless students attending Lake Oswego, Sherwood and Tigard-Tualatin schools, has done throughout the year.
