This week's calls include: a towing surprise, bad stunt driving and a drive-thru mishap.

Monday, Oct. 25

In the 14200 block of Southwest 72nd Avenue, a tow truck was unloading a vehicle into the parking lot. When the tow driver finished and came back around to the vehicle, he found an unknown woman inside it putting things into her bag. The woman left on foot and officers were unable to locate her.

A hit-and-run occurred in the 9000 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard. One vehicle backed into another vehicle while pulling out of a parking stall. The driver of the victim vehicle exited his vehicle to contact the other driver. The vehicle did not stop and hit the driver as it was pulling away. The vehicle was not located.

Tuesday, Oct. 26

In the 14200 block of Southwest Pacific Highway, a man demanded money from a clerk and presented a gun. The clerk turned over the money and the man fled on foot. Officers were not able to find the man. The investigation is ongoing.

A man was arrested for DUII after hitting several parked vehicles in a parking lot in the 7500 block of Southwest Dartmouth Street.

Wednesday, Oct. 27

Officers took a man into custody for several felony sex crimes based on out-of-state warrants. The man will be extradited back to the original state for the court proceedings.

Officers assisted the Washington County Sheriff's Office with a traffic crash near 7200 block of Southwest Pine Street. A vehicle had driven over a stop sign and into a fence before the vehicle got stuck in a yard. Deputies took over the investigation and arrested the man for DUII.

Thursday, Oct. 28

A man was arrested for shoplifting and harassment at a business in the 7500 block of Southwest Dartmouth Street. The man struggled with loss prevention officers while they tried to apprehend him after leaving the store without paying. A second man was arrested for assault after trying to assist the other man with getting away.

Friday, Oct. 29

Police responded to a domestic disturbance between a man and a woman. The man fled on foot. Officers attempted a K-9 track but were unsuccessful.

A vehicle was seen doing donuts in the parking lot of a parking structure in the 10200 block of Southwest Greenburg Road. While in the process of doing the donuts, the vehicle hit a brick wall. The vehicle was found at a nearby business. The driver was located and cited for reckless driving, hit-and-run, and criminal mischief II.

Saturday, Oct. 30

Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 7800 block of Southwest Hunziker Street. Neighbors called police after hearing what they thought was a commotion in a nearby apartment. A man was arrested for domestic violence assault and taken to jail.

Officers visited with trick-or-treaters on Main Street in downtown Tigard.

Two women were arrested for shoplifting in the 9300 block of Southwest Washington Square Road. They were both cited for theft, possession of burglar tools and an outstanding warrant.

Sunday, Oct. 31

A vehicle veered off into the bushes from the drive-thru at a business in the 11200 block Southwest 72nd Avenue. The driver was contacted and arrested for DUII.

A storage unit in the 11700 block of Southwest Warner Avenue was broken into. The person that rents the unit will be working with officers to identify what was stolen.
