Tualatin Police Log: Counterfeit bills left behind at scam scene

Tuesday, April 12
A woman reported that her front passenger car window had been smashed and items were stolen in the 7400 block of Southwest Nyberg Street.
Wednesday, April 13
A man crashed into the railroad crossing poles in the 8500 block of Southwest Tualatin Road and caused considerable damage. He was arrested for DUII (alcohol).
A man stole two packages off the front porch in the 18300 block of Southwest 134th Terrace and fled in a vehicle.
A woman attempted to use three counterfeit $100 bills to pay for dinnerware in the 7200 block of Southwest Bridgeport Road. She left without the dishes or the bills when the sales associate said she was going to scan the bills.
Thursday, April 14
Officers arrested a man near Interstate 5 and Southwest Lower Boones Ferry Road for DUII (alcohol).
A catalytic converter was stolen from a motorhome parked at a storage facility in the 19800 block of Southwest Cipole Road.
Friday, April 15
After a traffic crash near Southwest Avery Street and Teton Avenue, officers impounded a man's vehicle after driving suspended and uninsured and involved in a traffic crash.
Officers responded to a physical altercation in the 8100 block of Southwest Warm Springs Street.
Saturday, April 16
An employee of Fred Meyer, 19200 S.W. Martinazzi Road, was caught stealing from his employer and cited for theft.
A man was arrested for domestic violence after officers responded to a disturbance in the 18500 block of Southwest Boones Ferry Road.
Sunday, April 17
A man rented a storage unit in the 7000 block of Southwest McEwan Road and then burglarized the two adjacent units.
A man and a woman reported their car was broken into while they were at the gym in the 17900 block of Southwest McEwan Road.
Monday, April 18
After a disturbance in the 19500 block of Southwest Boones Ferry Road, officers arrested a man for domestic violence.
A catalytic converter was stolen from a car in the 19200 block of Southwest 65th Avenue.
