Broadway Rose presents 'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown'
Tigard's Broadway Rose Theatre Company's production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," continues through July 31 at the recently remodeled professional theater company.
"Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the Peanuts gang explore life's great questions as they play baseball, struggle with homework, swoon over crushes, and celebrate the joys of friendship," according to information on the Broadway Rose Theatre Company's website.
James Sharinghousen, who most recently worked designing props for numerous Broadway Rose shows, is in the title role. Sharinghousen is also the technical director for Scaregrounds PDX, a haunted attraction at Portland's Oaks Amusement Park, and has spent the last few years coordinating the art department on the stop-motion feature film "Pinocchio."
Sarah Aldrich, who adapted and directed a production of "Macbeth" last summer, plays Lucy van Pelt. She most recently played Mollie in Pentacle Theatre's production of "The Mousetrap."
Other performers include Kimo Camat as Snoopy, Michael Hammerstrom as Linus van Pelt, Jason Hays as Schroeder and Camille Trinka as Sally Brown.
Evening performances for the production are at 7:30 p.m. with 2 p.m. matinees set for several Saturdays and Sundays. Visit broadwayrose.org for times and ticket information.
