Washington Square Mall will get its first-ever craft brewery on Thursday, July 21, with the opening of Migration Brewing's indoor beer garden.
The beer garden is located on the second-floor balcony above the Center Court at the regional mall, 9585 S.W. Washington Square Road.
It is part of a pop-up retail program that Migration Brewing is developing to expand its brands.
"We really enjoy working with groups that are open to unique projects and the Washington Square team was excited about the concept, so it came together very quickly," Migration Brewing's CEO McKean Banzer-Lausberg wrote in a news release. This will be the fifth location for the brewery. Current Migration Brewing locations restaurants include Northeast Glisan Street, Northeast Wilkes Road and North Williams Street. The Washington Square Mall site will join Portland's Saturday Market, located along Southwest Naito Parkway, as one of the business' two pop-up sites.
The beer garden opens at noon Monday through Saturday, and at 11 a.m. on Sundays.
