The Tualatin Police Department describes calls for service between Aug. 23-29, 2022.

Friday, Aug. 23

A driver hit a parked vehicle in the 7400 block of Southwest Bridgeport Road, caused damage and left the scene without providing the information required by law. The suspect driver was later located and admitted to the crash; however, the victim declined to press charges.

Officers arrested a man in the 17700 block of Southwest Lower Boones Ferry Road for shoplifting, resisting arrest, false information to police and outstanding warrants. They also arrested the woman he was with for shoplifting.

Saturday, Aug. 24

A male suspect pepper-sprayed a restaurant manager in the 7400 block of Southwest Nyberg Street, causing injury. He had apparently stolen the pepper spray from a nearby business.

Officers arrested a man near Southwest Tualatin Road and 124th Avenue for DUII (alcohol), assault, driving while suspended and a probation violation.

Sunday, Aug. 25

A man in the 17900 block of Southwest McEwan Road slashed the tires of a car after arguing with the owner over money.

An unknown suspect stole a backpack blower from a vehicle while it was parked in the 18700 block of Southwest Boones Ferry Road.

Monday, Aug. 26

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 19300 block of Southwest 65th Avenue between a couple.

A vehicle in the 11900 block of Southwest Tualatin Road was stolen. The culprit apparently used credit cards that had been left in the vehicle at multiple locations.

Tuesday, Aug. 27

A woman arrested for violating a release agreement in the 19300 block of Southwest 65th Avenue was lodged in jail.

Officers arrested a man in the 8400 block of Southwest Dakota Drive for assault (domestic violence) after he caused injury to the victim's forearm.

Wednesday, Aug. 28

A man driving on the wrong side of the road near Southwest Lower Boones Ferry Road and Interstate 5 was arrested for DUII (alcohol).

A business in the 7400 block of Southwest Coho Court was broken into. Various items were stolen, as was an employee's vehicle.

Thursday, Aug. 29

A man was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 19200 block of Southwest Martinazzi Avenue. He was searched and was found to be in possession of stolen and fraudulent items.

A vehicle found abandoned in the middle of the road near Southwest Tualatin Road and 90th Avenue, creating a hazard for motorists, was towed.
