The Tualatin Police Department tackles reports of disturbances, crashes, thefts and more from Sept. 6-12, 2022.

Tuesday, Sept. 6

A man and a woman were involved in a physical altercation during a reported disturbance at an apartment complex in the 8300 block of Southwest Mohawk Street. During this investigation, it was determined that the woman was the initial aggressor in the physical altercation. However, the man declined to pursue criminal charges for assault in the fourth degree.

A man reported two of his vehicles in his parking lot in the 20700 block of Southwest 120th Avenue had their catalytic converters stolen.

Wednesday, Sept. 7

Officers arrested a man for hit-and-run after he was involved in a crash near Southwest Hazelbrook Road and Pacific Highway and gave the other driver fake information.

A man reported four boxes with contents valued at roughly $10,000 that were delivered by FedEx were stolen from his driveway in the 7100 block of Southwest 98th Avenue.

Thursday, Sept. 8

A woman was arrested in the 8300 block of Southwest Mohawk Street for assault and strangulation.

Friday, Sept. 9

A vehicle was stolen from the victim's gym parking lot in the 17900 block of Southwest McEwan Road. His wallet and keys were also in the vehicle.

Sunday, Sept. 11

A man was arrested for DUII (alcohol) and reckless driving after a hit-and-run near Highway 217 and Southwest Pacific Highway.

Officers responded to an alleged altercation between two men. The victim did not wish to pursue charges. The suspect had three valid outstanding warrants and was arrested and lodged for them.

Monday, Sept. 12

A disturbance in the parking lot in the 7400 block of Bridgeport Road led to one party being struck in the face and a bystander's vehicle being intentionally damaged.

A man was arrested after eluding in a stolen vehicle near Interstate 5 and Northeast Weidler Street in Portland. He then rammed two police cars intentionally in an attempt to escape.
