The donations will benefit Transition Projects, a Portland-based organization that helps people transition from homelessness to housing.

This year, that organization is specifically asking for new or gently used adult-sized coats and twin-sized blankets. In addition, monetary donations may be made as well at helpsharethewarmth.com, a secure donation portal.

"Our real estate brokers have always been committed to their local communities, and Share the Warmth is a prime example of that. We look forward to collaborating with the community each year in order to help our neighbors," Scott Mitchelson, president of Windermere Services Company in Oregon and Southwest Washington, said in a news release. "I'm always amazed by the generosity this campaign inspires and proud of the ways we come together to take care of each other."

Locally, warm clothing donations may be made at Windermere Real Estate's Bridgeport office,17400 S.W. Upper Boones Ferry Road, Suite 290; the Lake Oswego office, 220 A Ave, Suite 200; or the Raleigh Hills office, 6443 S.W. Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway, Suite 100.
