The topic of discussion will be 'Building Bridges between Oregon and Israel.'

The Mittleman Jewish Community Center will host its second PDX Business Breakfast from 7:15 to 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24. Dan Schoenbaum, chief executive officer of Portland's data analytics pioneer Cooladata, and Skip Newberry, CEO and president of the Technology Association of Oregon, will headline the breakfast with a discussion titled "Building Bridges between Oregon and Israel."

The breakfast discussion will be moderated by Steve "Rosy" Rosenberg, principal of Aspen Investment Group and co-founder of the Oregon Israel Business Alliance.

"Portland is developing a reputation as a great place for technology companies to establish their base of operations," said Steve Albert, executive director of the center. "Skip and Rosy have done a tremendous job cultivating and promoting Portland's business-friendly community and the advantages Israeli technology companies will gain by making our city their home."

The discussion will feature Schoenbaum discussing why Cooladata chose Portland over better-known technology hubs, and Newberry and Schoenbaum will offer insight into the opportunities that exist for companies looking to make Portland their American home.

The breakfast will take place at the Sentinel Hotel, 614 S.W. 11th Ave., Portland. For more information and tickets visit,
