Business News Update: Woodland Heights Assisted Living Residence
Nestled in a wooded setting in Tigard sits Woodland Heights Assisted Living community. And like the beauty around them, the intimate family owned center takes pride in caring for its residents.
"We have amazing long-term employees who continue to work hard as essential workers on the front lines keeping our residents safe, healthy and happy," Administrator Katie Webb said. "Just the other day one of our care givers told me 'this is where my heart belongs' when asked about why she is working at Woodland Heights. We have tough jobs but are all here for the same reason: to give our residents the best care because it's what they deserve."
Currently, Woodland Heights is accepting applications for residence, but due to adherence of state guidelines and recommendations regarding the safety of residents during the pandemic, are limiting tours to virtual along with video tours, Facetime and Zoom. Applicants are encouraged to walk the grounds to get a feel for the residence. Woodland Heights has scored zero deficiencies for the third time in a row through the Oregon Department of Human Services Survey Audit.
"We have an exceptional staff who make all the difference in the lives of our residents," Webb said. "Because of our independent status and family owned, we cater to each individual resident's needs and offer personalized care. I can speak for all our employees: Our residents are our family and we love to see them smile."
