PHOTOS: West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta returns to Tualatin
The West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta is officially back.
For the first time since 2019, costumed racers took to the Tualatin Lake at the Commons on Sunday, Oct. 16, paddling giant, hollowed-out pumpkins around the lake.
Although named for its signature attraction, the Pumpkin Regatta is also Tualatin's largest community festival, featuring a parade, pie-eating contests, children's crafts and entertainment, food, live music, and more.
The regatta was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to health and safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
