Lady Bowmen hold on to get a 33-30 win over Lakeridge in Three Rivers League play

LAKE OSWEGO — It's three in a row for the Sherwood High School girls basketball team.

The Lady Bowmen picked up their third straight win in Three Rivers League play, although it wasn't easy, but scoring a 33-30 victory over Lakeridge in a league game played Tuesday at Lakeridge High School.

With the victory, Sherwood evened its TRL mark at 6-6 (11-9 overall), moving the Lady Bowmen into fourth place in the league standings. Lakeridge fell to 3-9 in TRL play (9-11 overall) with the setback.

Senior Lauren Scarvie helped lead the Lady Bowmen to the win at Lakeridge, sinking three three-point baskets and scoring a game-high 19 points. Sophomore guard Ava Boughey added six points for Sherwood, while freshman Kylah Williams and junior Cali Etherington each scored four.

The Lady Bowmen will be back in action on Friday, when they play at Lake Oswego in a league game starting at 7 p.m. On Tuesday, Sherwood will travel to St. Mary's Academy for a 7 p.m. league contest.
