The Tigers took the top spot in the league standings, at 10-1-1, while going 12-3-1 for the season and reaching the second round of the Class 6A state playoffs. The Timberwolves finished second in the final league standings, at 10-2, while going 12-4 on the season and also reaching the second round of the Class 6A state playoffs.

The rivals even split their league matches, with Tigard winning 1-0 at home on Sept. 12, and Tualatin evening things up with a 2-1 home victory on Oct. 8.

So, it should come as no surprise that both the Tigers and the Timberwolves are both well-represented on the Three Rivers League all-league list for the 2019 season.

For Tigard, senior midfielder Trevor Smith was named the Three Rivers League Player of the Year, as helped lead the Tigers to their second straight league crown.
