School breaks are a very stressful time for children because not all of them will get something to eat. Summer is one of those times kids are at the highest risk.

Students in northern Marion County have the opportunity to receive a free healthy meal Mondays through Fridays during summer break this summer through the Summer Food Service Program.

Lunch will be free for all children ages 1-18. Adults can receive meals for $3.

In addition to food, many sites offer on-site games and activities.

Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

All sites are closed July 4.
