Woodburn police responded to what they believe to be gang-related shootings on Creighton and Oxford streets

A pair of shootings the evening of Aug. 6 left no one injured but are believed to be related to gang activity and possibly to a robbery.

At 10:16 p.m., police responded to a report of a single gunshot at the front door of a residence in the 2600 block of Creighton Street.

About three hours laters, another shooting was reported in the 2600 block of Oxford Street.

Both appear to be gang-related, a press release from Woodburn Police Department said.

Just prior to the second shooting, two victims were robbed at gunpoint by two suspects near the 2600 block of Duke Street.

All three addresses are within a block of each other.

Both robbery suspects were described to be Hispanic men in their late teens or early 20s. Both were armed with handguns. One of the victims led the robbers to their house, where the robbers took the victim's keys and stole a white 1997 Ford Windstar van with an Oregon license plate number of VRL095.

The vehicle has not been located.

Anyone with information or anyone who may have witnessed any of these crimes is asked to contact the Woodburn Police Department at 503-982-2345.
