Interested volunteers should meet at Woodburn City Hall for orientation, supplies

FILE PHOTO - Clean Up Day is March 17.The annual Woodburn Proud Clean Up Day will be from 8 a.m. to noon March 17.

Woodburn Proud, in partnership with the city of Woodburn, hosts the cleanup day every year in March, as spring begins and, with it, the start of the Tulip Festival, which brings thousands of vehicles through Woodburn.

The public is invited to join dozens of volunteers and participate in the cleanup day. Meet on the steps of Woodburn City Hall, 270 Montgomery St., at 8 a.m. for orientation, release forms and supplies.

From there, transportation will be provided as individuals are dispersed to various cleanup locations throughout the city.

Volunteers are reminded to dress for the weather and to wear comfortable shoes.
