WSD retirees have a total of 381 years of experience as educators between them

Woodburn School District is making major changes in administration next year, as 14 educators and administrators retire and a number of principals change positions.

Principal Jenny Caragol of Lincoln Elementary School and Principal Geri Federico of Woodburn Academy of Art, Science and Technology are retiring when the school year is over.

Jeff Taylor is leaving Nellie Muir to be principal of Valor, and will be replaced by Oscar Belanger, currently assistant principal at Nellie Muir. Ricardo Marquez, principal of French Prairie, will take over from Federico as principal of WAAST. French Prairie assitant principal Mateo Courtney will take over from Marquez. The assistant principal position at French Prairie will be filled by Jessica Ramirez.

The principal position at Lincoln elementary and the assistant principal positions at Nellie Muir are still open.
