Aspiring paleontologists and anyone who just enjoys dirt are invited to take part in dig Aug. 14-19 at Woodburn High School's Mill Creek

PATRICK EVANS - Volunteer Pam Horam holds a possible bison vertebra during a recent dig at Legion Park in Woodburn.Anyone interested in finding bones of animals that lived in Woodburn at the end of the ice age is encouraged to take part in a paleontology dig Aug. 14-19 at Woodburn High School.

The dig, which runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, is open to all ages.

All supplies included, except food and water.

This dig is just a couple weeks after volunteers excavated at a site in Legion Park.
