Police reports from Mount Angel and Gervais for the weeks of August 17 to September 16

friday, Aug. 17

• 8:48 p.m.: Police responded to a report of trespassing at a residence on Third Street.

saturday, Aug. 18

• 1:33 a.m.: Amber Lucero, 35, of Gervais, was arrested and released on an assault warrant.

Monday, Aug. 20

• 7:52 a.m.: Amber Lopez, 43, of Silverton, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

wednesday, Aug. 22

• 11:56 a.m.: A juvenile was arrested for DUII and unlawful possession of drugs.

Friday, Aug. 24

• 11:54 p.m.: Danny Mendoza, 27, and Osvaldo Gudino, 26, both of Gervais, were arrested for disorderly conduct.

Monday, Aug. 27

• 3:27 p.m.: Jorge Ortaz Hernandez, 38, of Salem, was arrested for failing to carry and present.

wednesday, Sept. 12

• 11:34 a.m.: Police responded to a report of theft of a banner stolen over the summer at the intersection of Wilco Highway and Academy Street.

• 11:36 a.m.: Police responded to a report regarding a banner that was vandalized within the past year in the 1000 block of North Main Street.

• 5:13 p.m.: Kyron Zeober, 28, of Silverton, was arrested in the 600 block of North Main Street and was charged with restraining order violation.

thursday, Sept. 13

• 6:22 p.m.: Police responded to a report regarding an individual suspected of stealing items from Oktoberfest booths at the intersection of North Garfield and East College Street.

friday, Sept. 14

• 5:01 a.m.: Police responded to a report regarding an individual sleeping outside a business. Officer told the individual to leave the area in the 200 block of West Marquam Street.

Saturday, Sept. 15

• 12:17 a.m.: Police responded to a report of two individuals that were observed entering a lot and locking the gate behind them in the 200 block of South Garfield Street.

• 1:56 a.m.: Police responded to a report of an assault at the intersection of Lincoln and Marquam streets. The complainant stated they were knocked to the ground by an unknown individual. Open investigation.

• 8:34 a.m.: Police responded to a report of trespassing on North Garfield Street. An individual sleeping in the Post Office, the officers made contact and determined the individual was waiting for their friend to pick them up.

• 10:42 a.m.: Police responded to a report of vandalism regarding a small tree that appeared to have been intentionally vandalized in the 100 block of Palmer Street.

• 5:36 p.m.: Police responded to a report of an intoxicated subject trying to get into cars at the intersection of West Marquam and North Pershing streets. Unable to locate.

• 6:06 p.m.: Police responded to a report of an intoxicated subject trying to start their vehicle. Contact was made with them and they were advised not to drive in the 200 block of South Garfield Street.

• 7:52 p.m.: Police responded to a report of suspicious activity regarding possible fireworks or gun shots. It was determined to be fireworks in the 800 block of North Main Street.

• 8:32 p.m.: Police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual taking swings at security personnel. No crimes occurred, and the parties were separated in the 500 block of Wilco Highway.

• 8:53 p.m.: Taylor Porter, 29, of Scio, was arrested in the 200 block of South Garfield Street and was charged with trespassing, and disorderly conduct.

• 9:30 p.m.: Aaron Stephenson, 30, of Molalla, was arrested in the 500 block of Wilco Highway and was charged on a warrant.

• 9:38 p.m.: Police responded to a report of an assault and attempted robbery. An individual reported they had been punched and the suspects went through pockets to steal things, in the 200 block of South Garfield Street. Open investigation.

• 11:12 p.m.: Police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual getting in a vehicle in the 500 block of Wilco Highway.

• 11:25 p.m.: Police responded to a report regarding an unknown individual sleeping in the complainant's tent. The officers and the unknown individual left the area. In the 500 block of Wilco Highway.

sunday, Sept. 16

• 12:22 a.m.: Police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 500 block of Wilco Highway, that two individuals were carrying public works signs. The officer was not able to locate the individuals.

• 3:11 a.m.: Police responded to a suspicious activity report regarding an individual was laying in the cemetery in the 700 block of North Main Street. The officer located the individual, who was cold and wet, and transported them to the police department until their relative picked them up.

• 3:50 a.m.: Police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 100 block of South Cleveland Street. An intoxicated individual was seen starting a vehicle. The officers made contact and determined a relative of the individual would take care of the matter.

• 12:05 p.m.: Police responded to a report of counterfeiting in the 500 block of Wilco Highway regarding free drink tickets. Open investigation.

• 6:43 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a suspicious person/vehicle in the 500 block of East College Street regarding possible vandalism to a vehicle. Open investigation.

• 6:55 p.m.: Police responded to a crash non-injury at the intersection of May and Main streets.

• 8:27 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a crash hit and run at the intersection of College and Cleveland streets. Open investigation.
