Police reports for Woodburn and Hubbard for the weeks of September 13 to September 30

thursday, Sept. 13

• 9:44 p.m.: Michael Patrick Variano, 56, of Woodburn, was arrested in the 2100 block of North Pacific Highway and was charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Friday, Sept. 14

• 11:11 p.m.: Walter J. Hernandez-Pablo, 18, of Woodburn, was arrested at the intersection of Mount Hood Avenue and North Pacific Highway and was charged with four-counts of third-degree assault, DUII, four-counts of hit and run, and reckless driving.

Saturday, Sept. 15

• 10:29 p.m.: Scott Jordan Smith, 27, of Newberg, was arrested at Walmart and was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, interfering with a police officer, menacing, probation violation, second-degree robbery, shoplifting, third-degree shoplifting, unlawful use of a weapon (possess illegally).

Sunday, Sept. 16

• 1:09 a.m.: Guillermo Brambila Lopez, 27, of Woodburn, was arrested at the intersection of Newberg Highway and Bulldog Lane and charged with second-degree criminal mischief, and DUII.

• 10:37 a.m.: Kimberly Uriarte-Para, 23, of Woodburn, was arrested in the 1200 block of Young Street and was charged with failure to appear.

• 12:13 p.m.: Angelo Freddi III, 44, of Woodburn, was arrested in the 1500 block of North Pacific Highway and was charged with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, and theft by deception.

• 2:10 p.m.: Jeff A. Nearing, 58, of Salem, was arrested at the intersection of Mount Hood Avenue and North Pacific Highway and was charged with DUII.

• 3:58 p.m.: Laura Marie Galindo, 35, of Mount Angel, was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary and harassment.

Monday, Sept. 17

• 10:37 a.m.: Police responded to a report of theft in the 300 block of South Evergreen Road.

• 10:45 a.m.: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 2300 block of West Hayes Street.

• 11:13 a.m.: Police responded to a report of counterfeiting in the 700 block of Columbia Drive.

• 3:43 p.m.: Police responded to a report of theft in the 300 block of South Evergreen Road.

• 4:02 p.m.: Police responded to a report of arson in the 1300 block of Park Avenue.

Tuesday, Sept. 18

• 1:51 a.m.: Jonathan Stanley Brooks, 37, of Woodburn, was arrested in the 1000 block of North First Street and was charged with harassment and menacing.

• 11:15 a.m.: Police responded to a report of theft in the 1400 block of Umpqua Road.

• 11:23 a.m.: Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1600 block North Front Street.

• 3:19 p.m.: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 700 block of Blaine Street.

• 3:28 p.m.: Police responded to a report of theft in the 200 block of Parr Road.

• 3:36 p.m.: Police responded to a report of trespassing in the 1000 block of Young Street.

• 6:38 p.m.: Veronica Wendy Pulido, 29, of Woodburn, was arrested in the 400 block of Montgomery Street and was charged with second-degree trespassing, second-degree disorderly conduct, and harassment. Also arrested was Kimberley Marie Persuitte, 49, of Woodburn, and was charged with two-counts of failure to appear.

• 11:28 p.m.: Arturo Chavez-Mansano, 24, of Woodburn, 24, was arrested in the 1300 block of Hardcastle Avenue and was charged with arrest on warrant.

• 11:48 p.m.: Police responded to a report of fraud in the 1500 block of Mount Hood Avenue.

Wednesday, Sept. 19

• 3:35 a.m.: Police responded to a report of menacing in the 600 block of West Hayes Street.

• 8:27 a.m.: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 400 block of Hardcastle Avenue.

• 6:03 p.m.: Mitchell Vaughn Tarasenko, 23, of Hubbard, was arrested at the intersection of G and Second streets and was charged with violation of a restraining order.

Monday, Sept. 17

• 5:09 p.m.: Miguel Rivera-Duran, 57, of Woodburn, was arrested in the 3200 block of Elm Street and was charged with failure to appear.

Wednesday, Sept. 19

• 6:11 p.m.: Police responded to a report of counterfeiting in the 3700 block of Pacific Highway.
