Property recovered from multiple thefts; police expect additional arrests as investigation continues

A Woodburn man was arrested and charged with theft after police discovered stolen property related to several investigations.

COURTESY WPD - Kenneth BeldenKenneth Belden, 58, was charged with first degree theft for his role in the theft of personal property from the parking lot of the Woodburn Walmart on Jan. 2.

The Woodburn Police Department recovered the stolen property while serving a search warrant on the 1900 block of Sallal Road in Woodburn.

Additional stolen property from multiple victims and other unreleated cases was recovered in the search, and investigators are working on contacting victims to return the stolen items.

The Woodburn Police Department anticipates additional arrests as their investigation continues.
