After settling into their Woodburn digs these past several months, Keizer-based HomeQuest Mortgage is ready to host a grand-opening open house.
The event is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at the Woodburn HomeQuest Mortgage office, 1310 Meridian Drive, Suite B1 (just off Newberg Highway).
Mortgage broker and loan consultant Shelly Stricker of Gervais will host the event, which will include catered food and refreshments.
HomeQuest has been in the region for years, with its main office situated in Keizer. The new office in Woodburn marks an expansion of the group's services in the area. Stricker said the office opened Labor Day week, but with the back-to-school energy followed by the holidays, they decided to let things settle in for a few months before hosting the event.
"We do all aspects of home mortgages, but we are different in that lenders pay us, not the client," Stricker said. "So our closing costs are lower.
"Our goal is too solve the problems standing between you and homeownership, and we do it very well."
