Police calls for the Woodburn and Mount Angel police departments for the dates of Jan. 27 to Feb. 5

WOODBURN

FRIDAY, FEB. 1

— 2 a.m.: Police arrested Kirshanna Shayla Jaramillo, 32, of Salem, at 1000 N. Evergreen Road for DUII.

— 10:35 a.m.: Police arrested Jorge Ramirez, 23, at 1398 E. Cleveland St., for failure to appear on a bench warrant and violation of a restraining order.

SATURDAY, FEB. 2

— 12:45 a.m.: Police arrested David Ivan Kuznetsov, 45, at 948 N. Pacific Highway, for failure to appear on a bench warrant.

— 9:29 p.m.: Police arrested J. Ruben Garcia-Duran, 54, of Woodburn at Young Street and North Pacific Highway for DUII, hit and run and reckless driving.

SUNDAY, FEB. 3

— 8:24 p.m.: Police arrested Luis Javier-Zamora, 20, of Woodburn, at 3161 Linda St. for second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree disorderly conduct and stalking.

MONDAY, FEB. 4

— 10:45 a.m.: Police arrested Filomena Madrigal-Camacho, 43, of Woodburn, at 3002 Stacy Allison Way for second-degree theft.

TUESDAY, FEB. 5

— 2:15 a.m.: Police arrested Annissa Faviola Orozco-Dick, 27, of Woodburn, at Pauline Street and Laurel Avenue for failure to appear on a bench warrant and interfering with a police officer.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 6

— 9:50 p.m.: Police arrested Erick Edmundo Cordero-Garcia, 19, of Woodburn, at East Cleveland Street and North Pacific Highway for parole violation.

THURSDAY, FEB. 7

— 12:37 a.m.: Police arrested William Michael Forbes, 29, of Vancouver, Wash., at 1142 Astor Way for parole violation.

MOUNT ANGEL

SUNDAY, JAN. 27

— 11:32 a.m.: Police responded to a reported parking violation in the 700 block of South Main Street. Officers discovered a vehicle tagged as abandoned and scheduled to be towed away. The vehicle was moved off the roadway.

— 3:37 p.m.: Police received a report of the possible violation of a restraining order in the 900 block of South Main Street and opened an investigation.

— 4:15 p.m.: A possible ordinance violation was reported in the 700 block of Saint Mary's Circle. The complaint alleged that a neighbor was leaving food out and attracting unwanted wildlife. An officer responded but was unable to contact the responsible party.

— 5:05 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at North Main and Monroe streets and issued a warning.

— 5:30 p.m.: A request for public assistance was received at Mount Angel/Gervais Road and Hayes Street.

— 7:40 p.m.: Police assistance was requested in the 1000 block of Wilco Highway.

— 10:56 p.m.: A suspicious vehicle/person was reported in the 400 block of South Main Street. An officer located an occupied vehicle on the roadway with no license plates. Up contact, it was determined the occupants were having a conversation and were about to enter a residence for the night.

MONDAY, JAN. 28

— 8:14 a.m.: A vehicle was reported stolen on Abbey Drive at a construction site. The vehicle was recovered by a neighboring agency and an investigation was opened.

— 1:07 p.m.: A request for public assistance was made on North Garfield Street.

— 2:57 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop on Wilco Highway and Hobard Road and issued a warning.

— 5:41 p.m.: A request for police assistance was made in the 10000 block of Wilco Highway.

— 9:59 p.m.: A request for police assistance was made in the 1000 block of South Water Street.

TUESDAY, JAN. 29

— 12: 28 a.m.: A parking violation was reported in the 900 block of North Pershing Street and a warning was meted.

— 12:33 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at Birch and Marquam streets and a warning was given.

— 3:14 p.m.: Police were called on to assist fire crews in the 100 block of North Garfield Street.

— 5 p.m.: A possible ordinance violation was reported in the 700 block of Taylor Street. The complaint said a vehicle was parked in the roadway for an extended period of time. The officer made contact with the responsible party and advised them to move the vehicle or it would be towed.

— 5:19 p.m.: A possible ordinance violation was reported in the 100 block of Saint Mary's Avenue. The complaint alleged a violation on private property and the officer opened an investigation.

— 10:25 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at North Main and East Marquam streets and issued a warning.

— 10:34 p.m.: Police were called on to assist fire crews in the 100 block of South Sheridan Street.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 30

— 12:25 a.m.: Police were called on to assist in the 400 block of West Marquam Street.

— 5:23 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to a report of an assault in the 500 block of East College Street. They opened an investigation.

THURSDAY, JAN. 31

— 12:44 a.m.: An extra patrol was dispatched to the 800 block of North Main Street.

— 1:04 a.m.: Police responded to a report of an ordinance violation in the 800 block of North Spruce Street. An abandoned vehicle was tagged to be towed.

— 9:06 a.m.: Suspicious activity was reported in the 700 block of North Spruce Street. Officers located a vehicle parked at the park for an extended period of time, despite the fact there appeared to be no one in the park. The vehicle was found to be occupied by "one person who stated they borrowed the vehicle and were using their phone," according to a report.

— 10:39 a.m.: Police conducted a welfare check in the 400 block of West Marquam Street.

— 11:06 a.m.: Officers were assigned to consider a parking violation in the 400 block of West Marquam Street after a complaint was received regarding a parked car. The car was found to be legally parked on private property.

— 1:34 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Main Street and the driver was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

— 2:26 p.m.: A report of suspicious activity was received in the 200 block of Railroad Avenue. The officer who responded located a vehicle parked outside a residence that appeared to be lived in, although it was unoccupied.

— 10:58 p.m.: Police served a warrant at Lincoln and Marquam streets and arrested Tricia Crew, 36, of Newberg, for third-degree escape as well as a warrant issued by Marion County. She was transported to the Marion County jail.

FRIDAY, FEB. 1

— 12:58 a.m.: Police conducted a foot patrol in the 400 block of West Marquam Street.

— 1:20 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 700 block of South Main Street and issued a warning.

— 8:02 a.m. Police received a request for assistance in the 200 block of East Charles Street.

— 9:47 a.m.: Police received a request for assistance in the 800 block of Liberty Street.

— 2:50 p.m.: An intoxicated subjected was reported to be on Towers Lane. Officers and medics responded to the scene and determined the individual should be transported to a hospital.

— 4:01 p.m.: Officers served a warrant at Wilco Highway and Hook Road and arrested Cesar Salazar Reyes, 30, of Mount Angel, for possession of a controlled substance as well as a warrant issued by Marion County. He was transported to the Marion County jail.

— 8:04 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Garfield Street and issued a warning.

— 10:28 p.m.: A request for public assistance was made in the 500 block of North Garfield Street.

SATURDAY, FEB. 2

— 3:08 a.m.: A request for public assistance was made in the 500 block of North Garfield Street.

— 8:09 a.m.: A request for public assistance was made on North Garfield Street.

— 12:11 p.m.: Police assistance was requested in the 9000 block of Wagon Road Northeast.

— 1:31 p.m.: Public assistance was requested on North Garfield Street.

— 5:33 p.m.: A burglar alarm sounded in the 800 block of East Marquam Street, but officers determined it was a false alarm and authorized a cancellation.

— 5:57 p.m.: Police assistance was requested in the 10000 block of Mount Angel/Gervais Road.

n 6:36 p.m.: Police assistance was requested in the 700 block of South Main Street.

— 7:05 p.m.: A traffic stop was initiated at North Main and East Charles streets and a warning given.

— 9:21 p.m.: A traffic stop was initiated at West Marquam and North Main streets and a warning issued.

— 9:41 p.m.: A traffic stop was initiated in the 9000 block of Humpert Lane Northeast and a warning meted.

SUNDAY, FEB. 3

— 12:51 a.m.: Police received a report of an insecure premise at Linden and Alder streets and an officer located an open door. A responsible party was located for the property and notified.

— 2:51 p.m.: A request for public assistance was made in the 600 block of West Church Street.

— 3:16 p.m.: A request for public assistance was received on North Garfield Street.

— 5:17 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at West College Street and Railroad Avenue and cited the driver for driving while suspended.

— 5:45 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at North Main and Monroe streets and issued a warning.

— 6:03 p.m.: Police conducted a bar/tavern check in the 300 block of North Main Street.

— 8:21 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at East Church and Garfield streets and issued a warning.

— 10:34 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported in the 900 block of North Main Street. The responding officer observed a vehicle with its flashers on parked on the side of the road. It was determined the occupant was using his or her phone.

— 11:18 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 800 block of South Main Street and issued a warning.

— 11:57 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop on Wilco Highway and Bonney Road and issued a warning.

MONDAY, FEB. 4

— 3:14 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at East Church and Oak streets and issued a warning.

— 3:22 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at Main and May streets and issued a warning.

— 4:46 p.m.: A request for public assistance was made on North Garfield Street.

— 5:32 p.m.: Police received a complaint about an animal in the 500 block of Railroad Avenue and an officer located a dog running at large. The canine was followed to ensure it made it home safely.

— 5:48 p.m.: Police were called on to assist fire crews in the 200 block of North Main Street.

— 6:42 p.m.: Police were requested to lend assistance in the 500 block of North Garfield Street.

TUESDAY, FEB. 5

— 8:59 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 500 block of East College Street and issued a warning.

— 9:22 a.m.: A traffic stop was initiated at North Main and Clement streets and a citation was issued for cell phone use while driving.

— 10:06 a.m.: Traffic assistance was requested at Wilco Highway and Downs Road. An officer assisted with getting a vehicle back on the roadway after it got stuck on the icy shoulder.

— 3:20 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at West Church and Fir streets and issued a citation for driving while suspended and driving uninsured.

— 5:32 p.m.: A request for traffic assistance was made at Taylor and Main streets. An officer assisted a driver moving a stalled vehicle from the roadway.

— 6:27 p.m.: A traffic stop was initiated at Mount Angel Highway and Downs Road and a warning issued.

— 7:39 p.m.: Police were called on to assist fire crews in the 400 block of West Marquam Street.

— 9:52 p.m.: Police responded to a burglar alarm in the 200 block of West Marquam Street, but it proved to be a false alarm and a cancellation was authorized.

— 10:20 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Garfield Street and a warning given.

— 10:32 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Garfield Street and issued a warning.

— 10:43 p.m.: Police conducted a welfare check in the 400 block of West Marquam Street.
