During its Monday, Feb. 25, meeting Woodburn City Council approved an annexation proposal by Emerio Design, which added 24.65 acres immediately adjacent to Centennial Park into the city limits. The acreage abuts the park's western border and is within the Woodburn Urban Growth Boundary.

Emerio Design did not submit any development plans for the site, which is zoned for single-family residential housing. The applicant did furnish a conceptual plan to the council.
