MOUNT ANGEL

FRIDAY, FEB. 15

— 12:26 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at Taylor and Alder streets and issued a warning.

— 8:36 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at North Main and West Marquam streets and issued a warning.

— 9:23 a.m.: Police attempted to serve a warrant on an individual in the 200 block of Railroad Avenue, but were unable to locate the subject.

— 11:47 a.m.: Police received a report of a trespass in the 800 block of South Main Street. The report indicated an unknown person may have entered a closed business. Officers responded but found no one.

— 1:39 p.m.: Police received a report of possible child neglect in the 300 block of Cindy Lane and opened an investigation.

— 4:17 p.m.: Police were called on to assist the public in the 800 block of Taylor Street.

— 6:56 p.m.: Police initiated a welfare check in the 10000 block of Monitor/McKee Road.

— 9:17 p.m.: Officers conducted a bar/tavern check in the 100 block of North Main Street.

— 10:10 p.m.: Officers mounted a foot patrol in the 900 block of South Main Street.

— 10:41 p.m.: Officers mounted a foot patrol in the 800 block of Taylor Street.

SATURDAY, FEB. 16

— 6:41 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at North Main Street and Industrial Way and issued a citation for failure to obey a traffic control device.

— 7:31 a.m.: A report of suspicious activity in the 200 block of North main Street prompted officers to respond. The officer located an unoccupied vehicle parked at a closed business.

— 9:28 a.m.: A family disturbance was reported in the 800 block of Taylor Street. The responding officer investigated and determined that the disturbance was vocal in nature. The parties were separated.

— 3:41 p.m.: A report of a fight at North Pershing and West Marquam streets prompted officers to respond, but they were unable to locate the subjects.

— 4:47 p.m.: Police were called on assist the public in the 100 block of Saint Mary's Avenue.

— 10:07 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at North Main and Monroe streets and issued a warning.

— 10:21 p.m.: An officer responded to a report of a parking violation at Academy and Leo streets and issued a warning.

— 11:54 p.m.: Police assistance was requested in the 600 block of North Water Street.

SUNDAY, FEB. 17

— 6:37 a.m.: Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Railroad Avenue. An officer determined that an individual was napping in the vehicle.

— 12:48 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at North Garfield and Palmer streets. Arrested was Daniel Hernandez, 22, on a warrant from Marion County. He was transported to the county jail.

— 1:53 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at North Main Street and Industrial Way and issued a warning.

— 2:07 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at West Marquam and Monroe streets and cited the driver for failure to obey a traffic control device.

— 3:56 p.m.: Police were called on to assist the public on North Garfield Street.

MONDAY, FEB. 18

— 10:04 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at Taylor and Elm streets and issued a warning.

— 10:36 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at Mount Angel Highway and Hazelgreen Road and issued a warning.

— 11:27 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 700 block of North Spruce Street and issued a warning.

— 1:54 p.m.: Police received a report of an intoxicated individual in the 200 block of North Main Street. The man had called 9-1-1 to request a ride home from police. He had been warned before of misusing the emergency system and that he would not receive a ride. The officer followed the individual as he made his way home.

— 2:40 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Main Street and issued a warning.

n 4:32 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 800 block of South Main Street and arrested three juveniles for second-degree burglary, third-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief.

— 6:09 p.m.: Police received a report of a purse stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of North Main Street.

— 6:35 p.m.: Police were called on to assist the public on North Garfield Street.

TUESDAY, FEB. 19

— 1 a.m.: Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Abbey Drive and observed a vehicle occupied by an individual who appeared to be passed out. Upon contact it was determined that the individual was sleeping there for the night and would be leaving in the morning.

— 11:42 a.m.: Police were called on to assist in the 900 block of North First Street.

— 4:06 p.m.: Police were called on to assist the public in the 500 block of Lincoln Street.

— 4:16 p.m.: Police received a missing child call in the 500 block of East College Street after the child didn't return home after school. Officers located the child at a friend's house and he was returned home.

— 8:57 p.m.: Police conducted a bar/tavern check in the 100 block of North Main Street.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 20

— 7:10 a.m.: Police assistance was requested in the 700 block of Taylor Street.

— 3:56 p.m.: Police were called upon to assist the public in the 200 block of East Charles Street.

— 10:06 p.m.: Police responded to an injury crash in the 300 block of North Main Street. Officers determined that the driver had fallen asleep while driving. He was cited for careless driving.

THURSDAY, FEB. 21

— 7:38 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at East Marquam and North Sheridan streets and issued a warning.

— 9:05 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of North Main Street and issued a warning.

— 10:52 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 800 block of North Main Street and issued a citation for no operator's license and failure to register the vehicle.

— 12:38 p.m.: Officers conducted a welfare check in the 400 block of West Marquam Street.

FRIDAY, FEB. 22

— 8:37 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 800 block of North Main Street and issued a warning.

— 9:58 a.m.: Police responded to Abbey Drive after a business reported receiving suspicious emails and phone calls, but found that they were not of a threatening nature.

— 2:09 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at North Main Street and Industrial Way and issued a warning.

— 2:21 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop on North Garfield Street and issued a warning.

— 2:58 p.m.: Police were called on to assist the public in the 500 block of East College Street.

— 6:25 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Main Street and issued a warning.

— 8:21 p.m.: Police conducted a foot patrol in the 100 block of East Charles Street.

— 9:51 p.m.: Officers were called on to direct traffic at Dominic and Boehmer roads.

— 10:16 p.m.: Officers responded to a suspicious activity call in the 1000 block of Academy Street. The officer located a vehicle with its lights on. The responsible party was advised and turned off the lights.

SATURDAY, FEB. 23

— 7:37 a.m.: Police attempted to serve a warrant in the 300 block of North Main Street, but were unable to locate the subject.

— 7:44 a.m.: Officers received a complaint about an animal on Towers Lane. The complainant said a dog was possibly being neglected. Upon further investigation, the officer determined the animal was well cared for.

— 6:15 p.m.: Police responded to a report of verbal harassment in the 1000 block of Willow Street. The complainant said they have received possibly scam phone calls and emails. Further investigation determined it was indeed a scam.

— 7:20 p.m.: Police assistance was requested in the 700 block of West Main Street.

— 10:45 p.m.: Police were called on to assist the public in the 100 block of North Main Street.

SUNDAY, FEB. 24

— 8:07 a.m.: Police received an animal complaint in the 300 block of May Street on a report of a dog running at large. The officer didn't locate the animal.

— 11:53 a.m.: Police were called on to assist the public in the 500 block of Railroad Avenue.

— 7:22 p.m.: Officers conducted a bar/tavern check in the 100 block of North Main Street.

— 8 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at West Church and Lincoln streets and issued a citation for careless driving and speed racing.

— 11:18 p.m.: Officers were called to assist traffic at Wilco Highway and Hook Road.

MONDAY, FEB. 25

— 7:47 a.m.: Police responded to a burglar alarm in the 500 block of West Marquam Street, but it was determined to be a false alarm and a cancellation was authorized.

— 8:57 a.m.: Officers were called to assist traffic at Wilco Highway and Hook Road.

— 9:19 a.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 400 block of North Main Street and issued a citation for speeding.

— 11:37 a.m.: Police were called on to assist the public in the 100 block of North Main Street.

— 5:34 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Garfield Street and issued a warning.

— 5:56 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at North Main and Monroe streets and issued a warning.

— 6:43 p.m.: Police were called on to assist the public in the 1000 block of Academy Street.

TUESDAY, FEB. 26

— 8:14 a.m.: Police were called on to assist the public on North Garfield Street.

— 8:36 a.m.: Police responded to a report of a bike found on a business' property. The officer took possession of the bike.

— 10:43 a.m.: Officers conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Saint Mary's Avenue.

— 12:47 p.m.: Police received reports of a child wandering in traffic at West Marquam and North Pershing streets. The child's parents were located prior to officers' arrival. The parent was advised to add security measures to prevent the child from wandering away from home.

— 3 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop at Taylor Street and Saint Mary's Avenue and issued a warning.

— 6:02 p.m.: Police assistance was requested in the 700 block of McClaine Street.

— 8:11 p.m.: Officers assisted with traffic at North Main and Clement streets.

— 8:34 p.m.: Police initiated a traffic stop in the 500 block of East College Street and issued a warning.
