Applicants must live within the boundaries of the Aurora Fire District and must apply by April 11

The Aurora Fire District is accepting letters of interest from those who wish to serve on the Aurora Fire District Budget Committee. People living and/or owning property within the boundaries of the Aurora Fire District are eligible to serve.

If you're interested, submit a letter to the district outlining how you are qualified to serve and any pertinent information you think the current board should consider to make an informed decision.

All applicants who submit a letter are encouraged to attend the April 17 board meeting, at which time appointments will be made. The meeting is scheduled at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Aurora Fire Station located at 21390 Main St., in Aurora.

Letters must arrive at the district office no later than 3 p.m. Thursday, April 11.
